The pictures in the saves do not match the place where the save was made
Reinstalling the game has already done,
The same trouble,
And I started a new game on a completely new, clean game launched via Steam,
This problem is only in Skyrim SE (1.640)
In Fallout 4 everything is fine and the pictures coincide with the moment of saving,
And in Skyrim, the pictures are a few seconds-minutes before the moment of saving. Sometimes even from another location

It's because of a wonky settings bug. Disable FXAA.

EDIT: or set to another setting, I mean.

EDIT2:
An in-game workaround is to open the save menu, exit back to the game and reenter the save menu. Saving now, will take the correct thumbnail.

I'm also using SSE 1.6.640, but have no issues with the images in the save. Are you using any mods, including bug fixes, or console commands?

I have a couple of saves like that, but they're from 2017 or 2018. On one, the description says Breezehome but the picture shows the character at a leather tanning station. It still loads,

The first option did not help, I tried both FXAA and TAAA and NONE.
The problem arose when I was playing through the mod organizer with a lot of mods, but now I was completely deleting the game.
I received a new version from STEAM.
I ran it clean without any mods, The problem remains,
I use the second option, I save several times, overwriting the saves to get the one that corresponds to the current moment. But that's not what I need)))

I noticed that when I press F5, I see that the save report (in the upper left corner) appears very slowly

it's done that for a long time, not sure if it still does...
but it doesn't really affect anything, it still actually loads in at the right place...
you can just stand still for a minute before you save if it bothers you, or, just ignore it.

I also just thought that there is something good in this.
Don't look back.
We must move forward!!!

I can't speak about your mod situation but setting the Aunti Ally to anything other than FXAA is the fix for what you describe.

Now I don't have any mods, I run a clean game through steam, Everything repeats, A few minutes ago I tried to run without window mode (and I usually play in it) and for a while it seemed to me that the problem was solved,
But after a while everything repeated, I returned to window mode - everything is as it should be. The save icon is delayed

Known issue, usually occurs when TAA is disabled.
"SSE Engine Fixes" mod fix this (and many other) weird bugs.

Don't change any of your settings or use a mod...there is an easy workaround. (Well...for hard saves and quicksaves that is.) Just hit the escape key multiple times...then save...voila...save screenshot matches the screen.
