Alternatively you could just download something like Nolvus where it is all done for you using a dedicated third party mod installer, with around 1500 mods (takes around 4-8 hours depending on net speed and location, as well as whether or not you have a Nexus premium account).

This one's on you.
As noted above by Xeno42, requirements are indeed under the drop list in description page.
There is a reason why dependencies exists. If mod authors would get permission to just merge each other's resources in to their mods, the outcome would be a file sorting nightmare, when different versions of various utilities would get mixed all around resource priorities. Modded games would actually become completely unplayable.
Furthermore, author activity varies. Some resource requiring another gets updated, that might kill of dozens of mods from the line.
So let's just stick with how things are. If you do not want dependencies, then move to mods that use only vanilla resources. There is not a lot to mod with those though.
Just have to pay attention to what you're doing. We've all been there.

Modding isn't plug-n-play but with a little reading you'll get it down in no time.
All I did was read mod discriptions and use LOOT. Whoever made LOOT deserves the nobel prize of modding.

It doesn't take a genius, it just takes time, patience and paying attention.
Already there. Check out Wabbajack, you can download and install huge modlists without any problems.
