Only the second mod listed with htd smp has the physics. If I remember correctly you'll have about 30 styles with physics. The other 300 from original ks hair does not, and can be used by NPCs with the proper mods.

Hair to harder to add physics onto, so most mods only offer a few styles. When on Nexus look for hairs that say physics, like this one.

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/18566

I'm guessing at 30, not like I scroll through racemenu and count hair ~.~ it could be 20 - lol.

when you say there is that one do you mean it adds hair styles with physics or it add physics to ks hairdos?

It's another hair physics mod that works with racemenu. I lost count on how many hairs i have... over 2k and i only pick like 4 of them lol

so there seriously are no mod to add physics to the normal ks hairdos?

no. I mean you can learn how to do it yourself but yeah. There isn't another one that does more. To be honest, physics on hair and body/cloths can eat fps but blame the old ass game engine this game uses.

Physics needs a special mesh created to make use of physics - so, unless the hair mod in question has had that special mesh created for each hairstyle used, there is no way to add physics to a pre-existing mesh. The mesh needs to be recreated from scratch to use physics - it is not something that can just be added to a non-physics mesh by a mod.

that makes sense i guess, going back to the mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/31405, sent by fear, i actually tried downloaded it once before but i think either it or one of the requirement caused my physics to all stop working so i would like some answers on if there is a way to make it work because i have all the requirements exept: BHUNP (UUNP NEXT GENERATION) SSE. and when i do download it it says there ia unresolved conflicts with CBPC but CBPC is a requirement for CBBE 3BA (3BBB) who is also a requirement for the mod sent by fear and the physics i use for the body of my character so i don't know what to do.

to be clear, you don't need bhunp. That's there if you use that body type for that hair mod. In bodyslide you look for _XcollisionBody cbbe 3ba and build it to fit your cbbe 3ba body preset.

You mention hdt-smp skinned mesh physics. You don't need it as it's outdated and never gets support anymore. Faster-HDT smp works for mods that require hdt-smp skinned mesh physics.

ok so for that hair mod i basicly need everything but BHUNP is optionnal and is only if i use a specific model in bodyslide but since i don't use that model i don't need BHUNP?

from my experience, the problem mainly because how you install the FSMP - Faster HDT-SMP https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/57339/?tab=files&topic_id=10699103
I fixed by try another option with CUDA and AVX, I chose "no CUDA" and "AVX x2" which fix my problem. if I try any things else the hair will anchored to ground.
