This is the SE version of the game.
In Vortex is a plugins tab. Anything red in that tab?
My suspicion from the message is that a mod (including SKSE) is the wrong version for your version of the game.
My best advice will be to check the versioning of all your mods. Skyrim has undergone a lot of changes in the past 8 months.
I don't know if Vortex has a search bar to look for individual files like MO2, if not, I'm afraid you'll have to right click on your mods, "open in file manager", and have a look in the DATA\SKSE\Plugins folder until you find the outdated mod and uninstall it.
The version for SSE/AE is called "JContainers64.dll".
Thanks for providing the reason. So many people don't and it really hurts the next person who has an issue and the thread comes up in a search. Not one person here hasn't done things the wrong way at some point. It's how we learn.
Thank you for posting the issue and the fix. It will help untold counts of someone else later on.
Good catch, but Jcontainers is used by quite a few mods, and not always the current version. It's a good idea to download the correct version and put it at the bottom of the load order with your other patches. That way "everyone" is using the current version. It's not a bad idea to have it installed.
However, please start a new thread and do not continue in this one, as it will just cause confusion. And in your thread, describe the problem complete and provide a sorted load order. To post your load order, in the top left hand corner of LOOT under Game, choose Copy Load order and paste in the reply box here.
For Vortex users, Vortex keeps a .txt version of your mod load order here:
C:\Users\[your name]\AppData\Local\Skyrim Special Edition\loadorder.txt
Find it and then copy and paste it here.
For MO2 users, your Mod Organizer 2 installation folder has a folder named profiles.
Under profile name (Default, or separately named) has both load order and mod list as TXT-files. You can copy and paste the load order directly from loadorder.txt file here.
It might be worth posting the content of modlist.txt as other reply, because there might be resource conflicts that we can spot.
