Can't start Skyrim because of a SKSE plugin loader problem
Every time I try to start Skyrim I get a warning message saying a DLL plugin has failed to load correctly. JContainers.dll: LE plugin cannot be used with SE. But from what I know JContainers doesn't have a plugin.

Thanks for providing the reason. So many people don't and it really hurts the next person who has an issue and the thread comes up in a search. Not one person here hasn't done things the wrong way at some point. It's how we learn.

I'm guessing you installed the LE version of a mod.

This is the SE version of the game.

In vortex it shows up as JContainters SE though.

Maybe it's not JContainers.

In Vortex is a plugins tab. Anything red in that tab?

Nothing red.

I have not yet "upgraded" to 1.6xxx so I am aware of versioning issues but not aware of the fixes.

My suspicion from the message is that a mod (including SKSE) is the wrong version for your version of the game.

My best advice will be to check the versioning of all your mods. Skyrim has undergone a lot of changes in the past 8 months.
JContainers.dll is mod for Skyrim Legendary/32bits.
I don't know if Vortex has a search bar to look for individual files like MO2, if not, I'm afraid you'll have to right click on your mods, "open in file manager", and have a look in the DATA\SKSE\Plugins folder until you find the outdated mod and uninstall it.

The version for SSE/AE is called "JContainers64.dll".

The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Good catch, but Jcontainers is used by quite a few mods, and not always the current version. It's a good idea to download the correct version and put it at the bottom of the load order with your other patches. That way "everyone" is using the current version. It's not a bad idea to have it installed.

T-posing is caused by having animation mods that require either FNIS or Nemesis, and not running those after installing the mod.

However, please start a new thread and do not continue in this one, as it will just cause confusion. And in your thread, describe the problem complete and provide a sorted load order. To post your load order, in the top left hand corner of LOOT under Game, choose Copy Load order and paste in the reply box here.

For Vortex users, Vortex keeps a .txt version of your mod load order here:
C:\Users\[your name]\AppData\Local\Skyrim Special Edition\loadorder.txt
Find it and then copy and paste it here.

For MO2 users, your Mod Organizer 2 installation folder has a folder named profiles.
Under profile name (Default, or separately named) has both load order and mod list as TXT-files. You can copy and paste the load order directly from loadorder.txt file here.
It might be worth posting the content of modlist.txt as other reply, because there might be resource conflicts that we can spot.

"A" mod was being stupid is not locating the problem nor solving it. Which mod and how did you solve it?

Well Mark, if you knew how to read properly, you'd see he said "I" and not a mod was being stupid, and you'd also see that he confirmed a separate mod installed a different version of JContainers that he removed.
