Thx for the advice, but steam automatically put it on my main drive during installation, so I don't think that should be an issue
That said don't install it in program files ....
This is the path to all my steam games: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common
Can it be the source of the problem? Because it doesn't affect any other games
That you have installed the game in program files is not advised because (usually) modding may cause some panic at end user protection tools such as anti-virus software and/or user account settings. Yet by default, it should work flawlessly.
Since you're able to launch the game and have the intro scene is something. Since you're ingame but no sound/speech is given, it's plausible that your game is missing a resource file. This is configured in skyrim.ini @ "sResourceArchiveList" under "[Archive]". Ensure that these two here below is part of it;
Yes, I already tried verifying integrity, nothing out of order there. Also, I looked into Archive in Skyrim.ini, but it doesn't seem to me there is a problem
sResourceArchiveList=Skyrim - Misc.bsa, Skyrim - Shaders.bsa, Skyrim - Interface.bsa, Skyrim - Animations.bsa, Skyrim - Meshes0.bsa, Skyrim - Meshes1.bsa, Skyrim - Sounds.bsa
sResourceArchiveList2=Skyrim - Voices_en0.bsa, Skyrim - Textures0.bsa, Skyrim - Textures1.bsa, Skyrim - Textures2.bsa, Skyrim - Textures3.bsa, Skyrim - Textures4.bsa, Skyrim - Textures5.bsa, Skyrim - Textures6.bsa, Skyrim - Textures7.bsa, Skyrim - Textures8.bsa, Skyrim - Patch.bsa
These two lines are there by default. Voices_en0.bsa seemed little off to me, but I checked in the data file, and the names match on all .bsa files
