I have a question?
Does signing up for the craft club inhibit 3rd party MODS? Because that seems to be an issue.

OK< I finally managed to get all the fish, the problem now is that some of them are not spawning in the fish hatchery. And the question is, if you take some fish out for storage elsewhere, do you have to leave one fish of that type in the hatchery? Or once you've put one fish of that type in to the hatchery will they continue to spawn?

Both the Scorpion-fish and the Vampire-fish do not seem to b spawning.
I was considering the idea that once you've introduced slaughter-fish eggs into the hatchery and they spawn slaughter-fish it essentially destroys the hatchery, however, I returned from a quest a few days later to find that my hatchery was quite alive and well.
I cannot even fathom how the dynamics work on this, as I was relegated to the fact that I would have to chase down every fish at it's known location in order to obtain that particular fish. However, the least amount of fish I have is 5, plus the one I carry on me, plus the one I keep in the aquarium, as well as the one I have in the hatchery. That being said, I hope it is sufficient.

I have heard much of disgruntled patrons who are complaining of lost hatcheries but I have been using this hatchery since I was able to arrive in the area and it is the better way to go according to my perspective,

Unfortunately, Skyrim is Skyrim! However magical and diversified it is, it still holds the record for the bjuggiest game of all time!!!!! There is no equal!!!!!
I have a couple of quite interesting situations occurring in my game of Skyrim.

#1: I have retrieved the book, The Wolf Queen vol. 6 from Dragonsreach to add to my personal collection at Lakeview manor library, where I have collected 332 different volumes. I have absolutely no idea how many books are in the game, however, on the google search it said 318 books and I am way over that and I know I have missing volumes just because of series of book volumes that I have not located.

Nevertheless, I received a miscellaneous book retrieval request from Urag at the college of Winterhold, of course it is the Wolf Queen vol. 6. However, since I have already taken it from the original place, I cannot clear the quest, as it is not showing an icon as to where to locate the book as it usually does.

Is there another copy of this book? Or is there another way of clearing this quest?
Can I sell Urag this book and buy it back? Or is this just a dead quest line?

#2: I have managed to obtain 22 Stones of Barenziah during my quests. The problem is, that I went to the Thalmor Embassy prior to actively searching for the Stones. I was rather eager to get out of the Embassy and away from the bloodthirsty Thalmor Mages. In my haste, I do not recall if I ever checked to see if the Stone was in the Embassy, nor do I recall if it was in Elwyn's Solar. Unfortunately, I cannot remember if the Stone was in the Reeking cave or whether I picked it up! This particular game is several weeks old and there are hundreds of quests.

However, I did return to the Embassy and the Reeking cave and the Stone was not in either place. I searched for more than an hour, scouring every last centimeter of both the Embassy and the Solar, and it was not there. Obviously, it was not in the Reeking cave either.

Is it possible to lose an opportunity to obtain the Stones by missing it during a quest? Is this another strange gift from the Skyrim quest chaos Gods?

Unfortunately, it looks as though I will be forced to check half of my quests again in order to figure this out. I was hoping that if someone out there in Skyrim has experienced a similar issue or has a work around, it would be nice to know.

Thanks!
There is a second copy of that book.
Found in the following locations:
  • Dragonsreach, on a bookshelf upstairs
  • The Ratway Warrens, in Esbern's room on the shelf by his desk

The stone remain in Reeking Cave, next to a corpse.

Edit: Steam formatting decided to be a PITA again.

Thanks for that info, I hope it clears the quest. It won't make any difference that I got Esbern out of there some time ago?

I figured out what happened just a little while ago. I did not obtain the Stone from the Dwemer museum like I thought I did. I got the thing, whatever it was from Calcelmo's room. Anyway, I retrieved that last 2 stones and got The Helm of Barenziah, which was a massive quest. A bit anti-climactic, if I might add.

Whoever created this thing, this monstrosity, you have to give them some props on the enormity, the creativity, the sheer complexity, as well as the vast story line and history of it is just plain mind boggling. Gotta take my hat off to them.

Unfortunately, my personal criticism is that many quests in the game deal in some extremely dark and horrifying concepts and matters, like eating human flesh, vampirism, lycanthropy, murder for hire, the worship of demons and thievery. These are not your everyday garden variety topics to discuss with kids, who are most likely the ones playing the game. I guess one doesn't have to become a serial killer, just play Skyrim and get your slaughter fix! If I had known that it was this dark, I probably would not have chosen to purchase it. Some parts are absolutely disgusting!

You could have opted to hide the list items instead (look up)

Did you check it with xEdit or creation kit or is there a website that enlists these location? I thought you took it from uesp but it seems not

The retrieval of the book, The Wolf Queen vol.6 from Esbern's hideout did not affect the quest as it did not recognize it. I have no idea as to how to clear the quest because it is not giving me a destination and I suppose it is because I had already picked up the volume prior to getting the quest to retrieve the book. Normally, it would announce that I had gotten the item and to return to Urag. It is not doing that.

I do not know what PITA means, but be that as it may, this is essentially a show stopper. It doesn't really amount to much I am already the head mage and have done most of the college quests.
Yes you have a question
PITA = Pain In The Butt
Welcome to old fart"s coffee house.

I was looking for a mod that would let me adopt all the poor wretched children living on streets with no parents and no one looking out for them. It's just sad that the Dragonborn can fight and kill many bandits and evil creatures yet can do nothing to right the injustices of the children living in the streets or being abused by wicked old ladies.

I think that it's a shame that we can look for ways to kill more efficiently and do things that are essentially immoral, but we can't focus on solving a generational issue of helping our children with massive and existential issues. Namely, homelessness!

I wonder if it a sign that society has lost touch with core family values. It goes ignored by most people and our government. Furthermore, why it is an event in a video game is quite remarkable and morally questionable. However, I am Old School, not of this generation, but it bothers me because I have core values, apparently unlike many gamers and developers.

Oh! Yeah, I was not thinking with my text brain. My grand kids do this to me all the time!
So, is there a forgotten soul out there who can inform me of a mod that allows the adoption of more children or a good soul out there who is willing to make a mod that will allow others to adopt more children?

Unfortunately, I have zero experience in modding, so that is out of the question. Where do people learn to do this modding?

By hands on experience; working with tools such as Creation Kit and/or xEdit.
For Creation Kit, these combination are sufficient; https://www.creationkit.com/index.php?title=Main_Page + exercise + creativity
(if you've a background as a programmer, it's an advantage when you have to write scripts)

If you want to adopt more children; you can use Hearthfire multiple adoptions[www.nexusmods.com]
