Season Unending, help(solved)
I clearly sided with the imperials but the imperials are still gave me the stink eye

Action
Score
High Elf Leaves
-1
Gave away Markarth to Ulfric
-2
Gave Riften to Imperials
+2
Gave Dawnstar and the pale to Imperials
+1

Answer to my question.
Stance
Description
Neutral
You gave too much away. More than was necessary to secure this truce
Against Them
Accuse you of betraying them at every turn
favors them
They will be happy and give you a reward

But the Imperials are being little brats and sneered at me. I will perform the black sacrament on them later, but before that is there a way to give the imperials more land and make them happy?

I might just reload an earlier save for this.

That's not how it works. All you've done is made them neutral to you, so you still get "the stink eye". If you want them to actually like you you need a positive number at the end of the negotiations.

You should have let Elenwen stay. You misread what effect she has.

Yeah, and you wanted to get Imperial favor right? Why get rid of Elenwen which makes the Stormcloaks happy instead of keeping her which makes the Imperials happy?
I hate the imperials and the Thalmor, so I've never kept Elenwen does Ulfric stay if she does?

Yes. It's just for a "point system" to see who is happy or mad at the end of the negotiations.

One of the many things I don't like about Season Unending is the Karthwasten issue: there are no details anywhere about this alleged incident. Whenever I've gone to Karthwasten, it doesn't show signs of having been attacked, there's just the Silver Blood mercenaries trying to steal the place from Ainethatch, even when the Imperials already control Markarth.

So, it seems to me that whatever happened there was perpetrated by the mercenaries, possibly dressed as Stormcloaks to get Imperial intervention so the Silver Bloods can steal the mine.

However, I have found that you can just keep refusing demands from either side, though there may be 1 or 2 that you have to concede. I'm going to have to reload the save before it starts next time so I can further explore the available options. Personally I'd prefer to have the ability to Shout both sides into a corner and tell them "you're going to cease hostilities so I can deal with Alduin, or I'll kill you both right here, right now" and have them agree to it. Or snatch Balgruuf out of his chair at Whiterun and tell him "I'm using your castle to trap a dragon. You can either say 'yes' or I kill you right here, right now" and skip the whole thing entirely.

Either way, Elenwen doesn't need to be there. It's not a Thalmor issue as pertains to the White-Gold Concordat.
