legendary difficult broken scaling
Yes yes i now there was many post about that but is 2019 and maybe something change.
Short version: legendary with all crafting skills(no exploits) is way too easy.
To the point. I have 62 lvl and my plan was end with at least 100lvl. I use 2h dragon mace and it makes 600 point of dmg. After make this weapon i change difficult from master to legendary and...absolutely nothing change. Everything die after one to max five hits. I don't even remember when i need to heal myself. I play on skyrim vanilla and i want to stay that way.
So it is any way to make skyrim hard again exept just throw my gear to the river ??
It is normal that enemy just stop scaling at some point ?

Most enemies stop scaling at 50, very few go beyond that, so if you are level 62 there isn't much that can match you. Combining all three crafting skills has always been broken, through a single mod(enchanting freedom) I had once gotten Chillred to 900 damage. Needless to say I rolled that back because most things died in one hit regardless of difficulty.

If you wish to keep that challenge and stay vanilla you are going to have to limit yourself. Perhaps don't combine alchemy with Smithing/Enchanting. On legendary/master it should still be pretty good if you have smithed weapons and armor with a nice set of enchantments.

Best option really is mods though, bethesda has never been good at scaling. I use a mod called Deadly Dragons for instance that makes dragons...well a threat. On legendary some dragons can get a lucky hit an instant kill me even at level 73 without a killcam. There stats are configurable through so they won’t all be like that.

What Rez Elwin said: stay away from the unholy trinity alchemy/smithing/enchanting. Limit yourself to one. Otherwise you can install mods till you get tired (or the game crashes, whatever comes first), but no matter what, it will break the end game.

Yeah, vanilla you have to nerf yourself to make it interesting at all at level 40+, even on legendary. And it's not just smithing/alchemy/enchanting, at a certain point using about any combination to its potential feels abusive because the game just doesn't have the content built in for it. It should be that you have to use everything you know just to stay alive.

You can get there with *some* encounters with mods. I have my game at the point where I've been one-shot by some enemies even with 1400+ health, but that's not happening withthe vanilla game.

My recommendation is a mod/mods that add enemies to the leveled lists + the buffed leveled enemies mod (This combination lets the second mod have more choice as to what enemies to spawn for you that are level appropriate) + a good combat mod like wildcat. Each takes on a different aspect so they shouldn't conflict/overlap too much.

If you want to keep it vanilla, set your character up like you stopped leveling at 35.

Well, thank you all for answers, this is bassicly what i expected.
Now when i think abaut it how this is even possible ?! Is so many qest and content in game that reach 100lvl is something normal and enemies just stop scaling... this is ridiculous.
Stop leveling is good idea and i think abaut another two.
First: just make "glass canon"
0 armor and 0% resist for elemental and magic, just put everythink in dmg.
Second: Use only items you find or find/buy. And i play that way ones and i have to admit that was to much for legendary difficult.
Thanks again.

Until you get to level 70 and can meet the Ebony Warrior... A long long period were your edge is dulled because you can kill virtually everything with a few hits, before you finally get a challenge.

You will meet first legendary dragons above 78. If you have draonfall it should not be a problem, indee once you have it no dragon is a threat any more as you get them always on ground. Without this you will have a hard time, exspecially as pure meele.

Actually you meet him at level 80, but yes he is one of the few enemies that don't scale and is quite strong. Karstaag is another one off the top of my head.

I meet him after lv 80, i am 74 with a char and he did not show up, think he come if you reach 80. This guy is probably the strongest enemie in game, also this nearly naked wizard you found on beneat the brewery questline (thieves guild quest) with his skeevers is very strong. But the ebony warrior, yes and beware if you face him not to stand at the wrong place, it is not so good to get flying from a higher mountain for your health.

And yes Karstaag, Haakon Volikar and Miraak are strong too.

I'll try to remember it's level 80 in the future.

Yeah, EW is at 80, and his dialogue sums up vanilla life at that point in the game ""I have done all that can be done. There is nothing left. No quests to be undertaken. No villains to be slain. No challenges to face."

Karstaag kicks EW's ass in a fight, btw... just slowly, and doesn't spawn long enough to kill him.
