Can't find an answer on Sun Fire and Vampires Bane.

After spending some time googling and hearing conflicting things, I think it's time to get a straight answer.

Are these spells boosted by Augmented Flames/Aspect of Terror or not?

Some people say yes, some people say no.. wiki states nothing.

They are Restoration spells so won't boosted by Augmented Flames, because they are not fire spells, despite appearances.

Will have to google Aspect of terror before I can reply on that.

Ok, They won't get a boost from Aspect of Terror either, because they aren't illusion spells.

"Sun Fire" and "Vampires Bane" fall under Restoration, rather like the Master Restoration spell "Bane of the Undead", and as such you really need the Necromage perk to boost them.

Again, conflicting response as I've seen multiple people say they ARE boosted by augmented flames, and Stendarr's Aura also being boosted by Aspect of Terror.

subject to Augment Flame which can increase damage by 50%
Stendarr's Aura (also seems to be affected by Aspect of Terror)
Sun Fire
Vampire's Bane"

They are not fire spells, they won't ignite oil puddles, they merely look like fire spells.

But I will admit I can't be 100% about the Aspect of Terror perk.

They also increase destruction when used.. so they aren't specifically restoration spells either.

They do sun damage not fire damage. Therefor the Fire damage perks, including Aspect of Terror, won't do ♥♥♥♥.

However, since you don't seem to be satisfied with the answers you are getting it wouldn't be that hard to make a testing save and confirm the answer one way or the other.

Can't do that, I'm starting on a fresh install. Was hoping a veteran could give me a legitimate answer.

We have, both me and Zsrai, they are not fire spells so don't benefit from a perk that boosts fire spells.

Accept it or reject it, it's an answer from two experienced players.
