And since you've mentioned Oblivion, there on churches windows all divines have human appearance, even Akatosh. So it's just a conventional thing
Roughly speaking, yes
An in game book The Monomyth explains the issue more or less
To get really specific the words "Aedra" and "Deadra" are elvish, the name for these being is Et'Ada and they were exactly the same before the creation of Nirn. The vast majority left this plane with Magnus and created the Sun and Stars. The ones who were tricked by Lorkhan to create Nirn and lose most of their power are the 8 divines, the Deadra did not do so an as such retained their power.
Aedra Means "Our Ancestors" and Deadra means "Not Our Ancestors". It's why the Thalmor hate Talos, they refuse to accept him, a man and an ancestor of the Mer.
That is how most mortals view them. The Aedra are good and gods, were as the Deadra are bad and Demons, but it's not all that simple. Their spheres of influence affects their actions in some way. Molag Bal for example tried to conquer Nirn several times, not out of a malicious nature but his nature is domination. Who is to say how the Aedra would behave if they could interact with Nirn in the same way.
Akatosh didn't send the Dragonborn to save the world out of the good of his heart, he needed to stop Alduin because he wasn't doing his job, and since he cannot directly interfere he created a Dragonborn to do it.
Talos is a god and a saint. You even meet a physical embodiment/avatar of Talos in Morrowind, an NPC named Wulf. He gives you a lucky coin which automatically gives you a greater power named "Luck of The Emperor."
Not quite, Anuiel is the "soul" of Auriel but they are not the same thing. Anuiel is of the of the direct forces responsible for creating the et'ada, the other being Sithis.
