Now the only issue I have to fix in my game is a weird particle bug. Thanks!
EDIT: It didn't work I will keep looking through xedit and try and find more.
So it appears that USSEP overwrites as well (But so does Skyrim.esp?) so does that affect it or am I misreading this product? This is for a food item I know does not work.
Meanwhile the second image (one that does work) has this extra line below it. Any suggestions? I know I can replace the records in XEdit as explained in your guide but I am a bit nervous about doing that...
Keywords category:
The two keywords fro Realistic Needs are being overwritten by CACO - however, in the second image, it can be seen that the RNAD CACO Patch has rectified this by forwarding the necessary keyword
In the Category ENIT - Effect Data:
CACO is winning the conflicts and overwriting the effects from the other mods. In this section, it is more4 a case of what effects you wish the food to have. As can be seen in the second image, the Patch for RNAD and CACO carries forward the "Snack" record, while preserving the other CACO changes
Anything that is in the column furthest to the right is what will appear in your game - anything in a column to the left which is red with red writing, is being overwritten and will NOT appear in the game.
So, in what you have posted, Skyrim .esm and Survival modeare basically completely being overwritten and the records and values replaced. The same goes for the Unofficial Patch. Realistic Needs is having its records included in the RNAD CACO patch.
As for why certain foods are not doing as you think they should in the game, it is because their effects have been changed by CACO, in line with the philosophy of the CACO mod author as to what effects foods should have.
Now, however, if you wish to do so, and feel that, for instance, food should also restore health, and not just Fortify Stamina as the Horker Meat has had its effect changed to by CACO,, you can add that effect to the CACO (or the RNAD CACO patch) record.
1) To do this, under the ENID - Effect Data category, go down to the sub-category Effects.
2) on the line where it says Effects, go to the record to the furthest right (in this case it is the RNAD CACO Patch)
3) right click on the Effects line in that column, and from the drop down menu, select Add. (if you get a warning popup click on Yes I'm absolutely sure)
4) When you have done so you should see and additional Effect subcategory added below the existing ones.
5) find the effect that you would like to add, and drag and drop the information for each subrecord to the corresponding subcategory in the newly created Effect subsection (that would be for the followingL EFOT - Base Effect; and under EFIT - EFIT: Magnitude, Area, Duration
6) Close xEdit - A box will appear titled Save changed files, make sure that the file(s) you are editing are checked, and making sure the Backup plugins box is checked (just in case you need to roll back). Then click OK.
7) the changes should now appear in the game on your existing save - just testto ensure it works as it should.
Just take your time - you may make mistakes, but as long as you have the original plugin backed up, you can always roll back to that one. And, eventually you will find that doing all this has become second nature, and you will wonder how you ever modded the game before without using xEdit! Good luck!
EDIT: after looking through, it appears the patch is bugged and only has scripting for certain foods. I will likely just switch to something more up to date like iNeed.
while we are discussing SSEDIT, although I will make a separate thread for this, I don't suppose you would know any way that I could find texture irregularities with xEdit?

I have this bug with this type of open fire, all other flames are normal.
For applying texture paths to meshes in NifSkope, see the following:

And for the pics I referenced in that post:

Though the instructions were written for a specific instance of a specific mesh and texture, you should be able to extrapolate from the instructions provided to apply to your own situation. Note, in your specific situation, it may not be that - this is just another way of troubleshooting issues in the game
Glad that you got it fixed!
