It won’t let me login to Bethesda (mods in game)

It won’t let me login to Bethesda (mods in game) I typed in correct password and username I can log into Bethesda.net with ease but in Skyrim special edition it tells me “Could’t connect to the Bethesda.net servers.*


Solutions I’ve tried

1. Changing my password (multiple times) always worked on Bethesda.net but not in game

2. Tried my login username and my Display name (did not work)


3. It’s not my Internet


4. Checked Bethesda support Twitter it says there’s no problem.


5. Yes I made sure I used Shifts for for caps

Had issues many a time with bethesda.net in the main menu on console with both mods and CC and from my experience it's flat out buggy as all get go. That was back when, before I knew better but that's another story.

Did it ever work for you?
Because like I said, sometimes it just spazzes out for a bit. Welcome to Bethesda (apologies for the negative).

Did you add an exception for your game to your virus protection and firewall?

Did you try using a different internet, like hotspot, as a test?

Edit: as an aside I'm just curious as to why you want beth mods. Maybe it's one particular mod? The reason I ask is (for starters) IMO mods are simply better on the Nexus and you're not installing them with a mod manager when using beth.

Yes tried a different network Hotspot etc. Just checked my firewall stuff my Skyrim SSE allowed to go through Bethesda mods there’s a certain mod that I can only get through Bethesda mods 99.9 percent of my mods are through Nexus.

I don’t know what else there is to do and yes it has worked before until recently for some reason when I took a break a year ago

Hmmm, Beth.net aside for a moment, did you update your game and build a brand new mod list or use the existing game as it was. Make sure graphic drivers are up to date and things like "Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package (x86) " are good to go. I guess at this point I'm just asking out of curiosity because you said you were away for a year. But as far as Beth.net is concerned I'm stumped and I also have not used it in almost a year. I guess you already tried a hard rest on your modem and router if that's your set-up? Then, depending on how long you have been attempting to sign in maybe it's another famous beth.net working on their servers so it's "temporary" lol. Other than that and the things you mentioned that you already tried I'm not sure even Beth would have an answer.

Edit: WOA, I just went here https://twitter.com/BethesdaSupport
and saw at a quick glance announcements that "TES Online" and "Fallout's" were Back online after maintenance just a couple of days ago. What that means for what you are trying to do I am not sure.
