Minor Issue With Mod Organizer 2
So I've been getting annoyed by several issues that have been persisting with MO2 for a while now. When I try to run it as admin, it will not launch unless I run it normally (without admin privileges). Then it has an annoying little "pop up box" where it will ask me if I want to run helper.exe everytime I try to run SKSE. It only triggers when I run SKSE from MO2. If I try to Run FNIS or SSE Edit before that SSEEdit will not detect my mods and FNIS will fail. Once I click yes on that box, it will then restart MO2 and I can now play Skyrim normally if I run SKSE again. And my other tools like SSE Edit will now function normally as well until i turn MO2 off again.

I got fed up of that box and clicked the "do not ask me again" button recently and now everytime I try to run SKSE from MO2, it just restarts and repeats everytime I try to run SKSE.

TLDR: I can't play Skyrim anymore. How do I restore that checkbox or get rid of this whole annoyance? I have checked Google for the past hour and can't find anything related or useful.

Simple answer ... Uninstall and reinstall MO2, preferably as a standalone portable installation as you appear to have security issues running the installer installation using instances.

Correct answer ... Edit the ModOrganizer.ini file in the AppData/Local/ModOrganizer folder. If you delete it and open Mod Organizer it will recreate the default INI file.

Oh wow the correct answer actually worked. Still has the annoyance that keeps asking me to run MO2 as admin but at least I can at least choose to ignore it. Thanks!

You need to have it as Admin.

Choosing to restart MO2 as admin from the checkbox would simply restart MO2 and it would still ask me that dumb question later. And I for some weird reason am unable to run MO2 as admin from the desktop shortcut. Goin directly to it's exe file and running it as admin works though.

You should right click your icon for MO2, scroll down in the list.
Chose run compability test.
There you chose "this program needs more privilige"

Or what is more easy, MOVE Steam and MO out from protected folders.

It's working fine now though. I'll give it a try anyway so thanks for the tip.
