Help me with Skyrim Console Commands

Hey there,

I am doing the taste of the Death of the Death Quest, without knowing i attack Eola in front of the Cave, because i thought she is a Bandit, with a Bow. I quickly realized i was wrong, so i desided to just hop into the cave and do the quest so she can calm down. Now i cleared the whole cave tryed to tell her i am done and....... she is still agressiv towards me. Well thats bad. Also my laste safe before i atacked her is 2 Hours back, so that is not a Option.

I read about a Command that can change the Relationship of NPC, but i dont know how to use it , it is something about "setrelationshiprank 0001bb8e 0". But that does not work,

Please help me with the correct command and the way to use it ! Thanks!!!

Often, though a person may not want to, there is no other choice - and this would seem to be such a case. The use of the console is a last resort - the first resort is always to load a previous save. The choices would appear to be either load an earlier save, or just accept the consequences of having initially attacked Eola - which is to kill her. When you attacked her initially, you triggered a quest response where the only option is to kill her (thus failing the quest), and thus that stage of the quest is completed and cannot be rolled back - hence why attempting to get her to stop being hostile on a permanent basis does not work, as it is impossible to reset a quest or roll it back to a previous stage (the exception would be the simplest of fetch quests, at times).

No, it gives you a relationship value, but can't change the consequences of killing an NPC....

As has been stated your only viable choices are to load an older save, or to accept that you killed her and failed the quest. Any console command that resurrects her will break something in your game.

Then your only option is to accept you killed her and failed that quest.

Thanks but i dont know what and how i could use it. Honestly i think i am just gonna quit at this point. Thank for all the help.

Then there is nothing that can be done. See, AntiqueRose, it is not about what is desired, or what is wanted, it is about what is possible. It is fine not to want to roll back (and just remember to save more often in the future), as long as you accept the consequence of that - which in this case is you have triggered Eola to be hostile and the only way to resolve it is by killing her. That is just how the game works. Also, keep this in mind - this is really just a side quest - there is a tremendous amount of other things to do in the game even if you fail this quest.

And not that it will make you feel any better about it, but the very first time I played Skyrim, I entered the Markarth Hall of the Dead only to see a crazy nut job screaming and running at me, so I killed her. Well, it was Eola, and I got the message "quest failed". I was a little annoyed at that, but accepted it and kept playing. And here it is years later and thousands of hours of gameplay later and I am still playing Skyrim. Okay, so maybe you won't be as crazy about the game as I am - LOL! - but there is still a lot to do beyond this one quest and this one NPC named Eola.

For all non Believers there was a Solution and i will tell you how to replicate it.

Special Thanks to @sergiomorozov the onethat figured it out with me!

HOW TO FIX TASTE OF THE DEATH QUEST!!!

1. Open your Console and type the following : "player.addspell 000e40ca"

That is a Command to get the Spell Emperor's Voice.

2. Equip it and use it in front of Eola (perferably before she does see you). Than u should get the Quest to talk to the Priest.

3 Do as told and go back to the cave.

4. You know want to enter the console again to do the following : "player.removespell 000e40ca" and "player.addspell 000e40ca". That way you do reset the Cooldown. (Make sure to equip the Spell again)

5. With the Priest beside you u want to SNEAK!!! towards the Feast. Make sure to not get seen otherwise the Progression will get stuck. Cast the Emperor's Voice Spell and make sure to hit Eola!. That might end in you not hitting the others, and them attaing you but dont worry.

5.5. Reset the Cooldown as explaind above to calm the others.

6. Watch the Clock!!! The Spell lasts only 60 seconds so you want to make sure that Eola is effected by the Spell all the Time. Just reset the Cooldown while they are talking.

7. If you get the task to kill the Priest you have done everything right and you can enjoy the Meal, If Eola is stuck talking to the guests and no moving towards the Altar she might have seen you before you where able to cast the spell and u need to do go back to 3.

Except, that once the spell wears off, Eola (and any other NPCs that were hostile or became hostile) will revert to hostile again - not to mention any unforeseen consequences of progressing things in this manner which could lead to other things breaking down the road.
