Survival Mode Bug

I need help figuring out how to enable it midgame. I am well past the tutorial and even denied turning it on when prompted. However, I wanted to play around with it on but, when I went to the settings to turn it on, it is not there! Maybe my google-fu isnt strong but it came up with no answers for it. I did find one cgf "Game.IncrementStat" "Survival Denied" -1 that worked for someone but it did not work for me. I kinda dont wanna start over again.

Open the game's system menu , select Settings. Click on Gameplay and check Survival Mode.

Requires game update 1.6.x

P.S. Skyrim's survival mode is rubbish, use a mod instead.

You are digging too deep. The option is in the in-game menu as described above.

Don't believe that it's rubbish. It is totally ok. Mod lovers always think their mods are better. Test it yourself and then you can compare it with some mods of your choice.

I literally did not have the option at first. Reinstalled the survival mode fixed it. Just it luckily.
