because of the constant updates and how often i heard about Bethesda broke Skyrim, i will hold my purchase of the Anniversary Edition, maybe i will purchase it after Bethesda done with their updates.
and back to the topic, i want to know if Bethesda disabled the CC Market for the sake of the Anniversary Edition
CC market is still up, it has to be otherwise the AE DLC would be meaningless, you still have to use it to get the CC Content.
Also there is no reason to wait in buying the DLC, best to get it on sale right now, the updates do not affect the CC content.
Fallout 4 also has a planned huge update.
These updates will likely stop when Starfield is released, they will have to focus time on that and soon after TES6 and later Fallout 5.
Hmm, I don't quite understand. Do you mean that I can't buy the CC contents separately? I have to buy the Anniversary Edition first, and THEN I can download the contents?
Yes, that is what I'm planning. I'm thinking of buying the Anniversary Edition after Starfield is released.
No, you should be able to buy them separately, still no reason to not get it now.
As the title suggested I can't buy them, there is no buy button whatsoever. only [ESC]back
button. Is there a way for me to buy CC content without booting up the game?
Which version of Skyrim Special Edition are you running now?
If you don't know there are various ways to check. Easiest might be to go to your Steam Library and then Skyrim Special Edition / right click / select "Manage" / then "Browse Local Files"
now find SkyrimSE.exe / right click / Properties / Details Tab / Look at "Product Version
I have version 1.6.640.0.
Also, Doesn't Steam auto update its games and softwares?
Regardless if you buy or don't buy the Anniversary DLC ($10.00) or if you buy just the CC content you want - you should protect your game from updates, it's simple, then back up the SkyrimSE.exe and the SkyrimSELauncher.exe
But you will need the Script Extender (SKSE64) so you can launch from there.
Once you install the Script Extender protecting your game is simple.
You see as long as you are launching the game as you normally would which is through Steam then you can get updates like it or not the game will update when you launch it.
So buying the Anniversary DLC has no bearing on that.
People write all these articles that the Anniversary Edition Breaks your game which is not true. This is only true if you are modding your game and if you are modding your game you should be using the Script Extender and then protecting your game from updates.
But if you are not modding then you don't care about updates.
Here's a guide explaining how to do everything I spoke about in the above post. The guide also has a link on how to easily install SKSE64.

I did what you told me to do and I still can't buy or claim anything from the CC store.
I CAN update what I already have, but I still have not found the buy button.
I guess Bethesda truly disabled the CC market for the sake of the Anniversary Edition.
Thank you for the time, everyone.
I mean heck, you have to spend a minimum of $7.99 from Bethesda through Steam for a package of CC points (which is not refundable btw) JUST to be able to purchase 1 Creation Club mod regardless of how little that 1 mod costs. On the other hand when purchasing the Anniversary DLC not only is it refundable but you get 70 Creation Club items.
Once you do that (purchase the DLC) the next time you launch your game you'll automatically be prompted to install the DLC package which takes about 10 minutes to download and install.
So either purchase nothing or buy the DLC imho.
