Just wondering how achievements work with the Skyrim co-op mod. Does only the host earn achievements or are they shared equally?

There is one, but some people find it to be suspicious and avoid it....

Only the host should talk to NPC's and take on quests. If the coop friend gets involved with quests then bugs will abound.

'Together' is not really for first time players, best stick to single play if "achievements" are important to you...

From what I have read "bugs abound" regardless. The game was never designed to be forced into multiplayer, mod or not.

Or if NOT crashing to desktop every 5 minutes is also important.

Then you have done something wrong with the install, or using mods that are incompatible. Lots of mods just won't work. I played coop for many hours crash free, but we're still learning 'how' to play to avoid bugs (such as host needing to interact for quests). But still it's great fun and stable thus far. Am sure the Together devs will solve many of the issues with time.

Maybe you need to dig into game folder and remove the 4 anniversary edition files, this step does not appear in all 'guides' but does on the Together webpage/guide.

Um .... I don't don't need to "dig" into anything. I don't have this mod and never will. I'm just basing my opinion on what I have read, and all the people who have posted on here with a ton of issues, and what I have read in other forums.

Best thing is to try. There is also a mod that enables achievements with mods installed. I myself is looking for someone to play with STR. The only mods I have for now is SKyUI and STR but will be installing graphics mod later. Maybe we can party up.

achievements are disabled with mods, but there is mod that can enable them.

Well then you should know that STR has extremely in depth install instructions that the majority of people complaining in the forums couldn't figure out because they refused to read the install guide + I think it's just beyond a lot of people due to it's complexity. It's not a click to install mod....

In my experience with as many as 70 mods STR is playable for hours without a crash with 2 players, although I definitely don't have the same success with 7 players sadly...

I tried the mod yesterday and an achievement popped for exploring 50 dungeons. (I’ve unlocked all achievements for the original version.
