Falkreath quests.

The Jarl has ask me to help his pathetic, miserable people. I have done two. I can't find a third person to give me a quest. Is this a known problem or have I goofed something up?

Keep talking to the locals. Some have quests. Some are as simple as Chopping wood and selling it where applicable, investing in shops etc. The game will pretty much lead you as you continue playing.

There are relatively few favor quests in Falkreath so this can be tricky. An easily missed option is to sell firewood to Hert at Half-Moon Mill. You have to go there at night for her to be out. Another easy one is selling cabbage to Mathies at Corpselight Farm.

IIRC it's Wheat
gather crops for Mathies. I could be mistaken.

There's also a deliver an item for Thadgeir.

Did the Thadgeir thingy. Mathies doesn't trigger anything even though I killed a werewolf for him. Guess I'll find Half-Moon Mill.

Did you talk with him while you had the crops in your inventory? If I remember right, the farmers (like the workers at the lumbermills) don't give you a quest to sell stuff to them. You just collect the stuff (either crops or firewood) then talk to them and there should be a sell option.

Don't forget ..... it's not necessarily helping the people IN the town alone. Falkreath is a Hold ..... meaning, there may be people you can help in some of the surrounding area as well

Three off the top of head would be. bring the dead mans ashes to the priest for proper burial. Followed up by getting the priest journal. Getting the Letter from Lods House for the prior Jarl.
Other things to Help the people, Talk to the Bar keep and learn of missing persons. finding the missing hunters at the bear cave. selling wood to any of the Mill owners. if you have the investors perk . invest in any of the three vendors.
