Wrye Bash Cant Rebuild Patch HELP

I am trying to create a bashed patch for my mods but the option to Rebuild the patch is greyed out no matter what I do. I have 177 Esp's / Esm's and 170 ESL's. Here is my mod order for Mo2. I use Loot to sort the plugins, but i'm not sure how to organize the load order.

What is the error message. Are you planning to start a new game I assume?

With wrye bash you can literally see if there is any load order issue. For example I had wrong order of masters in a compatibility patch earlier and had to sort its load order in SSEEDIT.
The checkbox will be yellow or red in wrye bash if there is some load order issue.

From what I can tell looking at your list, you are using anniversary edition mods. Not sure how that works with compatibility. I stay on 1.5.97 game version and Skyrim Script Extender 64 v2.0.20 beta, because I do not want to deal with all that crap for the next 6 months at last.

Okay,

1) I learned I had to sort my load order in Wrye Bash before rebuilding the patch
2) I rebuilt the patch and created a new mod for the patch in Mo2, BUT there's no esp inside!

What step did I miss?

I would grab LOOT to sort the load order, just using wrye bash to see conflicts at a glance and to create the bashed patch.

If you succeed in creating the bashed patch, there will be an ESP. mine is called Bashed Patch, 0.esp

If there is no esp then you did not create the patch. If you are more specific on what you are lacking, I may be able to give you advice.

Modding is a terrible business with a great learning curve, but once you figure out how to use all the tools and avoid the biggest mistakes, it can pay off with intense fun.

You don't need to sort out your load order in Wrye Bash. Just add Wrye Bash's executable in MO and run it from there. It will hook up MO's load order. In addition the ESP will be created in the overwrite folder inside MO. If at any point you find yourself of being unable to recreate the patch, then go to \Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition\ and delete BashLoadOrders.dat and BashSettings.dat.

He should be able to see the esp in the plugin list of MO2 as well, just one click.
I never bothered to pull anything out from the overwrite folder. May be chaotic but works fine for me.

Yes, the bashed patch plugin shows up on the right panel, just no esp. I deleted the files BashLoadOrders and BashSettings and rebuilt it, still no ESP inside the overwrite. I'll just leave it and hope it works lol. Thanks for your help everyone. :)

Not sure if I am understanding correctly:
You mean the mod organizer 2 plugin panel? If you can see the esp there, you shlould be able to click on the checkbox to activate it? Or even right click on the plugin and select "open origin in explorer", to find the actual location.

Gave it another thought cause I cannot wrap my head around the issue.
Are you maybe using different profiles in Mod Organizer 2, which could be the reason the plugin is there in wrye bash but not shown in the MO2 plugin list?

I was going by a youtube video that said you had to set up an esp that was supposed to be in the overwrite folder. Though he might have used SSEedit, I didn't.

If you have the plugin, that's the esp file. Normally it should be there, but no idea how you set up your tools. when you see the plugin, right click and select "open origin in explorer". Then you find the location of the plugin/esp-file.
