Skyrim no sound,no dialogue.Because of language problem.

Hello! I just downloaded Skyrim SE last week.When I start the game the sound is only when the logo appears, the Conversation. During the start of the game there is no sound, no dialogue either. The characters do nothing.We reached the place of execution and truck fix to the wall and no one goes. All sit and nothing happens.
No mods. DirectX 12. Windows10.
I re-installed 10 times does not help and tried alternative start to do, but the mod is not installed.

And then I tried to changed to windowed from full-screen,and its all works and being fine again,just being so lag.i don't know why played it at full screen is smooth but is so lag at full-screen.(and also is smooth when i played at fallout4.)

I tried to play it by windowed,at least I could get through to create my character,and get to River-wood village.And then change it to full-screen.
And then same problem again.No any sound,and no SUB.

The Next day, I tired to change the game language (by Steam) to English from traditional Chinese(the language I used to.) . And then is all begin work and smooth ,everything is fine at full-screen.Even when I re-start the new game, I could still hear "HEY, YOU AWAKE." And the truck could get inside the village.

But and then i tried to change it back to traditional Chinese, is all going back to worst and no sound again. i don't know why and i hope some one could fix it.


I read some forum and watch the vedio from youtube, some people got the same problem as me, and didn't get solve, I hope they could read this page,and try these way to solve.

1. Change it to windowed .
2.Or you could still play at full-screen,but the language have to change to English.

On google do a files name check, see if all the names for voice files are correct. There's only one file for voice which is around 1.8 GB or something. If it is incorrect replace it with original name manually, it should work. Since I also went through the same problem.

Well, Bethesda's vanilla Skyrim has been well and thoroughly data mined. The whole structure is well understood, somewhere it is posted what is it and where it should go. What is frustrating me is there isn't an easy way to swap between multiple languages on Steam without the previous version not being wiped completely. I would try that first. Go to language in steams game settings menu on the game's game page and swap from English to Spanish or something and swap back.
