Now the Real Vlad Tepes never owned a Castle in Transylvania, never even visited there.
However, Vlad III's father (Vlad II) did in fact own a castle in Transylvania.
I polished up on my history regarding Vlad decades ago when I was Executive Producer on a indie horror film using Vlad as the main character. Soon afterwards I adopted "Vlad" for my xbox name.
He once eliminated all poverty in his entire realm by inviting all the poor people to a banquet, barring the doors, and burning the place down with everyone inside.
Was a very interesting and disturbing documentary.

On a lighter note:
Yeah, you're worse than bethesda's wrting... lol. Download better vampires mod and become the vampire lord you were always meant to be.
And is still viewed as a saint in Romania.
Didn't know Vlad III never visited Transylvania, but given his father did, the point still stands, Dracula was the Son of the Dragon.... Romanian version of Pendragon...
I wanted to see if I could complete any ques... well, anything at all, really. I left Helgan with an Imperial and ran to the nearest Vampire den. I waited for a week and at stage 4, we entered Riverwood for the first time.
I utilized the Imperial power on a regular basis. Sneak into a store, use the power to calm everything in the cell, do the personal quest or task for the shop owner, use power on them again to turn in the quest and you're good. They remain friendly. Unless, you feed and return to stage 4. Which, I found out by accidentally feeding a couple of times.
Being in the Companion Circle ceremony was the most hilarious. Half way through, the town goes on aggro. Because you are friendly with the Companions, they focus their eyes on the town folk. As soon as you exit dialogue, they attack in your defense. LOL
