I have read a few redeit posts about this and a few people wrote that in their gameplay gunmar is not in skyrim or solstheim but they have a few new land mods one person wrote they found gunmar in buma another person wrote they found him in beyond reach another person wrote they found him in wyrmstooth is this true?

Mods change stuff, so it's definitely possible.
Can't say that those particular people met him in those places, because I don't know them.

Pretty sure he can spawn in any location that's marked as an animal den. So if a mod adds a location as an animal den on another land he can be placed there.

I never liked falskar it's not even 1% lore-friendly I prefer mods that are atleast 20% lore-friendly like beyond reach and bruma.

Well it's more to say there's a solution it doesn't matter what new lands mod you use.
Atm I'm running Legacy of the Dragonborn, Helgen Reborn, Falskaar, Wyrmstooth, Bruma and Midwood Isle.

Taking this thread slightly off topic but on the subject of your post:

How is falskaar and wyrmstooth? I've heard that falskaar is "superb for the fact it was made by 1 guy, but just 'ok' when compared to things like LOTD, dawnguard, or dragonborn". Does it feel like it fits in the game?

Like, take Helgen reborn, for example. It has some...interesting...voice acting but, honestly, fits very well in the game IMO. Were it not for the VA, you could convince me that it's just another expansion. (Not to say the VA's actually bad. It's still better than farengar.)

By comparison, bruma is a well-developed chunk of land IMO, but doesn't feel like it fits in the skyrim design. No real main questline and some of the locations have multiple paths and exits as opposed to the single-track of skyrim. (Again, not saying that's bad. Just not in line with skyrim).

How would you say falskaar and wyrmstooth compare?

Wyrmstooth is better then non lore-friendly falskaar but I liked beyond reach better because of many things beyond reach is as good as the glenmoril mod these two are my fave.

I heard some bad stories about beyond reach. That it's a rather depressing or "heavy" mod emotionally / psychologically. (Conversations about rape and lots of gore). While i can respect / appreciate the artful goal of that style and such storytelling in general, it's not for me.

I play video games to escape the emotions of reality. The occasional bad thing happening is alright for realism. But "heavy" realism in that scale is...unhealthy for me.

Well In truth I did have a few issues with beyond reach mod when I was playing oldrim version but I've played beyongd reach with sse more then 10 times without issue so maybe the sse version is the one being updated I mean I've read that a few mod creators decided to stop updating a few big oldrim mods and instead keep updating the sse version mods instead but beyond reach is much better then some mods like there be dragons call of cthulu mod that mod is broken when you get to the sea elves they all turn hostile and you constantly crash entering the palace there that mod is unplayable.
