I need Madness Ore and Amber...

I can't really find any of those item.
I have looked at Youtube for an "easy" find for those khajiit. but they never spawn in.

So if anyone knows the location were they acually are or knows their id code, that would be great.

I let you know if I find anything meanwhile...

It's random where to find it.
For finding the id?, use google or the help command.

they are having an "XX" at the start of the code. I don't know what they are.

If you want use console, you can consult the following pages to find the id's
- https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Madness_Ore
- https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Amber
and replace the xx's with the position of the mod in the load order.

However, there's a simple help thing in console:

# madness ore 
help "Madness Ore"
# amber
help "amber"
# add to your inventory
player.additem <code> <number>
# example of adding three ambers
player.additem 03000BC6 3

to get the correct ids*. If there's more result, use PgDown and PgUp keys to navigate through it.

*note: it works correctly for non-NPCs, NPCs are different!

Try open the console and type: help amber and help "madness ore" I mean we can't say what xx is it depends on what other CC content you have. btw it is certainly not 003 that is Hearthfires and that order is fixed

yeah, I could't get "Madness ore" to work. so I wrote just "Madness" and scroll up with the PgUp. I just found out about how to scroll in command. thanks anyway!

Hi. Just wanna add that once you complete the quest in the Solitude sewers & then give the shegorath ore/sword to some chick Rissad will send a message to you informing that they will sell both ores / weapons & armor . Have to cautioned you that the fight in the sewers is a tough one. Good luck.

Go to the Mill near Lake Ilinalta, under the bridge is a chest with Joften's notes, once you get that and read it you will find more A&M ore.

Just remember don't refine them, the quest requires one of each ore.... won't work if you drop ingots....
