But I don't know how to use it on this skyrim special edition :/
Perfect size, great decor, various customization options for the exterior and interior (nothing major but you can swap around some things), lots of storage, easy exterior drop offs linked to interior chests, all crafting stations except the spider one, room for numerous followers and children too (I believe), and one of the best display/trophy areas I’ve seen in a house mod (it’s just a shame it doesn’t have spots for EVERY unique weapon).
The only issue I’ve had with it is that once you’ve filled it up with lots of stuff, it can start to act funky - for example I had a randomly spawning book drop on the entryway floor every time I entered the house, and a it would also sometimes copy one or two weapons I had on display and drop the copies on the floor when entering the basement.
It can also start really lagging when it’s filled with stuff, you have high settings, and you’ve got lighting and other such mods going (though this only happened in one of my games using it out of a couple different saves).
Other ones you could look at are Skyfall Estate and TNF Breezehome.
I have not personally used Skyfall Estate but it looks pretty robust. I did recentky try TNF Breezehome and was actually pleasantly surprised at how much more functional and better it made Breezehome. It’s not as detailed or as extensive as Elysium Estate or Skyfall Estate, but it’s a worthwhile upgrade to everyone’s first, and usually ignored/abandoned, available player home.
It’s a shame that the mod maker didn’t branch out into other projects or make other homes.
