Game crashes randomly

I’ve been playing Skyrim a bit more and I’ve noticed that the game closes itself sometimes. I’ll lag occasionally, but not when I’m about to crash.
I play on the lowest graphics and made the screen smaller, so my performance is good.

Is there any way to stop the game from crashing?

Fresh reinstall? (delete skyrim SE folder and empty the bin, then uninstall and reinstall the game) still having issues? Maybe it's your pc's fault.

Even if you install bug fix mods, it's still not a guarantee you'll never crash. Random crashes in particular would be nearly impossible to prevent anyways.

System is up to date. The only mods i'm using are INIGO, Better Horses, and Paarthurnax Dilemma.

Other games will have lag spikes, but won't crash.

I doubt this is your problem, but playing at native screen resolution is usually preferred.

If you haven't in a while (like every 6 months, more if pets...) try opening case and blowing out dust, cat fur, cob webs, old socks etc. Overheating, and laptops especially prone, causes instability...

Also monitor temps Core Temp app is free and has a really small footprint, it just works!

Your onboard GPU only manages to cover the min requirements of Skyrim SE, so don't use many texture mods or anything that eats up VRAM. You will get a lot of lagg and likely crash when things get too chaotic in game all at one time.

Your CPU and SRAM are more than enough to run Skyrim SE, but your iGPU is lacking. Iris XE is only as good as GTX 660 and HD 7870, which are minimum listed GPU in the store page. Coupled with the fact that you only have 1GB VRAM which is half of the minimum amount needed (which is 2GB).

It's no wonder you're crashing a lot randomly. Even if you won the silicon lottery, the Iris XE would only be as fast as an underclocked GTX 1630, which is still slower than the recommended GTX 780 or R9 290.

However, if you play at a lower resolution, you can get away with your weaker iGPU and insufficient VRAM. Before anyone corrects me, yes I know iGPUs don't have dedicated VRAM, they have shared VRAM allocated from the SRAM.

I updated the drivers and the game doesn't crash anymore! Still lags from time to time, but not as bad.

Can't make my own thread, don't know why. Just PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME!!!
I KNOW AND UNDERSTAND that modding could potentially broke my game, nevertheless, I did that - just for nostalgia sake. I've read any guide as much as I could get, and minimizing all "unnecessary"/immersion-breaking-mod installed. I consider my selection of mod is quite 'light'. Yet, the problem is still persist: the nightmare random freezes. If any of you are nice enough to tell me which my mod is the culprit, please do tell me nicely.

I use Vortex, LOOT, SSEEdit auto clean, ReSaver, SNIFF, none of these could really save my game. I'm quite desperate at this point. I just really wanna play. Please help and be nice :(
