Far as I know it's a game bug, not sure of any fix.
Yeah but how is that possible without and lighting mods? When I disabled all graphical/ lighting/shader mods, it literally looks like vanilla skyrim but with flickering. And btw by graphical i mean i even dsabled smim type ♥♥♥♥.
I’m not gonna read through your list, clearly you’re using too many mods that add light sources and/or shadows.
As I understand it, the game is hard wired to “switch off” light sources when you’ve got too many trying to affect the same thing.
Side note: clearly you didn’t disable every graphical mod as that is definitely not what vanilla Skyrim looks like in regards to its lighting/color/etc.
If you actually read my reply to the other dude and my description. I disabled all of those light, shadow, shader, or texture mods and I still get the problem, but when I go straight vanilla, it stops.
Disabled some mods = it still happens
Only Vanilla = not happening
This can only mean that you still have a mod active which is casting its own light source. Like I said, too many lights in the same radius will cause flickering. Only way to "fix" is less light sources, especially those fixed on your own char.
For example, Majestic Mountains can alter the position of the outdoor sunlight source even though it’s mainly just a mountain retexture.
I see you’re using something by Pfuscher. His newer stuff is all parallax now which I know doesn’t play nice with certain shaders and lighting mods and can cause all kinds of weirdness.
Revisit all your lighting and shadow mods and double check compatibilities.
Or try just disabling Pfuscher’s Whiterun.
Side note: whyre you using Dance of Death and VioLens?
Pretty sure DoD is an Oldrim mod and VioLens is just the SE version.
Double check your mods
