please help an old man enjoy life

i recently updated my mods in vortex and attempted to play but received a api64dll is missing. went online and was totally confused-found one that said verify files so i did that-first time it said one was missing and the nexr time it said all were ok-yet it tries to load but goes to black screen immediately-please help all i want to do is have some fun in my later years-why did they have to add that other stuff i do not know--any help would be appreciated-i am not computer savy so try to make any explaination simple--thanks bunches in advance

not sure what to do with po3 tweaks-not even sure i know what it does even after i read the explanation-also found the alchemy one so i know they are there-let me know when to try loading-if i load the alt one does it auto start on start up?

Yes that link takes you to afk mods and that's intended because that's the only place you can get it. The mod is made by the same guy from the Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch and that's his website.

In the beginning of the guide I mentioned AFK Mods as one of the accounts you should create.

Then download the mod to your PC's downloads folder.
then move it to your desktop
Now make sure Vortex is open and that you are in the mods section
down at the bottom is a long rectangular box
Drag the mod from your desktop and drop it in that box then watch it install

Every mod with a number in the guide has a purpose. So just take those and skip the rest unless you feel comfortable installing them, most should be comfortable for you but that of course is up to you in the end.

The one exception is Scrambled Bugs which I have not numbered yet but you should take it. I'll try to give it it's number now. My internet has been cutting in and out for the past few weeks.

Nexus mods SSE. I have each mod linked so just use each mod's link.

of course you can use Nexus. Matter of fact that's where 95% of the mods in the guide will be downloaded.

You follow the guide and go down the line, mod by mod and install it as I describe in the guide.

Yes it's very simple as I've spelled it out step by step. Follow the guide and take your time making sure you read everything I typed.

ok i cannot sign into afk at all i do not know what name they want for the first question and then i am having a hell of a time answering the questions and when i do and do the sight quiz it never likes my answers and i can not create an account i am lost
