[SOLVED] Can't buy Lakeview Manor

Siddgeir hates me, presumably because I killed his housecarl for the Dark Brotherhood, I've already done all the quests related to him, I have the unofficial patch and I've tried setting my relationship rank with both Siddgeir and Nenya to 3 but they still won't let me purchase land. I also have Relationship Dialogue Overhaul which, when enabled, won't even give me dialogue options for Siddgeir.

Can anyone help me? I've tried looking for console commands to forcibly give myself Lakeview Manor but I've found nothing helpful.

THAT DID IT! I had been writing "setrelationshiprank" and not "player.setrelationshiprank!"

Since you have already tried the relationship rank fix wiithout success, the only other non-mod, non save-destroying option I know of is completing the Civil War on the Stormcloak side, which would give you a new Jarl in Falkreath.

Do you mean you killed his steward?
Because you need the Steward alive to buy the land off him.

And don't try to resurrect him, that will lead to CTDs.

Talk to his steward, not with the Jarl. It is the High Elf(i think) woman in his house. SHe is the one that sells you the plot.

If she wont talk to you she bugged out. And i am sorry :(

Nah the Houscarl is not the steward. The person you buy the house from is the High Elf(i think she is that anyway) that is the actual steward. The guy you kill for the DB is his bodyguard and has nothing to do with the house.

I've talked to the steward, but I don't have the dialogue option to purchase land.

I had the same problem in Markarth, had to use console command to "complete" quests i already completed for them to talk to me again.

OP, have you completed ALL the requirements for becoming Thane of Falkreath? It looks like you've only completed one of them.

I used the "setrelationshiprank" command as suggested in other threads concerning this same issue. This did not help, however.

I've unlocked Rayya as a follower and she calls me her thane, so... yeah.
