I have a problem with finishing up Lisbet's Statue of Dibella sidequest.
The problem is this: Quite some time ago (last week irl), I have done the quest to obtain the Ring of Namira, all while I had Lisbet's quest still active. It is only today that I finally got my character's tail up off of her chair to finally finish some quests that were left undone. I got the statue and checked the map, only to find that Lisbet is still in Reachcliff Cave. Meaning that she never left. Now, the only dialogue I get from her is "Wait, I know you."

Has anyone else come across this before? If so, which of you resolved it and how? I just want this quest done and over with.

Reload your save from last week and do the quest over again, or preferably in the other order.

Yes, I know you are going to whine about losing progress, but that won't change what the answer is OR the fact that other posters are going to give you various console commands that if you use will only serve to kill your save and cause future you to list even more progress.

Problem is... I only got my quick save and autosaves, and the saves that I do have are after character creation, and after selecting an alternate start for my character (joining the Stormcloaks, because I had joined the Imperials beforehand on another character). So I guess I'm kinda boned on that one? :|

In any case, thanks for the response. I will see if I have any other saves after that and see what I can do about it.

Yeah, Skyrim is one of those games that you want to save often and keep backups.

Make proper or hard saves, they are slightly less prone to getting corrupted, and as Fauxpas says make them often.
Just found out if you go back to the store she will pop up there to end the quest so no need to jump back save

Ditto. I've done the quests concurrently in the past and somehow Lisbet always appeared in store to get her statue back.
