Food overhauls may overwrite survival mode changes, and there may be patches on the nexus that you need for it to function correctly.

Yes, if there isn't a Restore Hunger effect listed in the item description, your problem is a mod overwriting food changes.

You need the unofficial Skyrim Survival patch if you play with the Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition patch, otherwise alot of food is not gonna satisfy hunger.

Unnofficial Skyrim patch, is the one i have, not survival edition. I will try that.

Otherwise idk what could mess it up, i shouldn't have anything that ♥♥♥♥♥ with it. I could screenshot my mod list, i am no expert, but maybe someone else knows some of the mods. It is a big list, i got some from friend, i don't think he got anything that ♥♥♥♥♥ with food.

Either way, you'd want the unofficial Survival Patch anyway. It corrects some major oversights like Rabbit Haunches having no restorative effect, even though it's one of the main huntable animals.

Are you eating the propper foods? Some Inns only have some basic food stuffs and if your hunger is VERY high its not gonna make much of a dent.
I always try to carry some of the high grade stuff like:
Cooked Beef
Cooked Leg of Lam
Cooked Horse meat
Or anything like that whos stat shows decreasing hunger by like 300+
Also eating till the notification "Well Fed" pops up helps keep you fed for a while.
As just reaching "Satisfied" means you might get pekish again fairly fast.
Survival makes cooking much more relevant too, as there are some great things you can cook yourself that have much better Hunger saturation and provide some other usefull stats too, like Hot Potato Soup giving you warmth for the cold.

They had a variety of food, plus my own, i started on very small hunger when i ate. Just loaded another character and turned on survival, still bad.

I get no notifications that my hunger is going down, just the going up stuff for tiredness and hunger etc.

You do not have to tell me about cooking, i spent all my money cunsuming every piece of meat, fruit, veg, soup, sweet, and drink in the house. I know how to survive, i did fallout 4 survival, my problem is that i can't restore.

Is Unofficial Survival Patch located BELOW every unofficial patch in your modlist, so it loads after?

Also, I'd try installing Lenient Survival beneath that...maybe it'll reinstate the food values back to normal. Makes Survival less of a pain-in-the-ass in general, tbh.

I deactivated everything, but the patch mods, restarted a game, seems to work. I think though i did not install mod with intent to ♥♥♥♥ with food, there was one with a mod with sub-effect for food.

Going to go through it all until i find the mod causing the issue.

Thanks for all your input guys!

Finally found the problem child. The Immersion Friendly Sorting (ifs main) mod. It doesn't matter where in the load order you put it, food loses it's hunger values.
