Amazing Follower Tweaks invincible followers
I looked things up and the reason I wasn't dealing any damage to Uthgerd the Unbroken during the brawl probably has to do with this mod. How can I set things so that my followers take damage when I hit them?

I figured it out. As reference for anyone else having this problem with this mod, it's because you've probably got followers set to ignore friendly fire.

have you gone through the dragonborn quests on solestheim if so you probably came across a black book I don't remember which one but one of them gives an option to do 0 damage to followers.(the reason is there is because the ai often likes to block your shots with everything.) I also can't tell you how many times ive downed my follower.

No, the problem was I wasn't doing any damage to her. In order to obtain Uthgerd as a follower, you must defeat her in a brawl. My punches were not doing any damage. This is because the Amazing Follower Tweaks mod had turned off friendly fire. Since Uthgerd is a follower, this applied to her.

Makes sense. Thanks for that. I'll remember to turn it off, should I ever need to.

AFT tweaks should not come into play until they are actually your follower. At least I have not encountered this bug during my playthrough and I brawl everyone. Do you have any other mods that affect NPC behavior and combat?

Dumb Question: How do i get to the Workshop for Skyrim on steam? It doesnt appear to be on the toolbar that i can see.

I don't use the workshop- I normally get my mods from Nexus.

There is no Workshop for SSE. Only Nexus, and Bethesda.net (and you are STRONGLY advised NOT to use Besthesda.net for modding, as there are significant potential problems).

Edit - there are also some other sites to get mods from - though Nexus is the main site that is used. You can google the others.
