Any first person mods?
I am looking for a mod that adds animations for first person that are played in third person. Like when you sit down it goes in third person, that breaks my immersion. Also when you get knocked down it goes in third person. Is there a mod that makes that not happen?

"breaks my immersion".

Hmmm, let's count 'em off:
1. I'm sitting in a chair with my feet up, and not actually running around the surface of a planet with two moons.
2. I'm not chasing or being chased by something that could kill me easily.
3. Magic
4. Flying dragons
5. I'm watching it on a TV screen.
6. I'm holding a plastic controller and not a metal weapon.
7. Hot chicks in skimpy armor
8. Elves, Orcs, Cat-like humanoids, Lizard-like humanoids, Giants, Mammoths, and spiders the size of my car
9. I can change the world around me completely.
10. I die and get back to it.

Immersion!? Not even close.

There are a ton of different animation packages depending on your needs. I know one that adds an actual first-person view so you can look down and see your feet. As far as sitting/knockdowns go, I don't think there is one. The knockdowns would probably cause severe nausea as they can be spinning/janky animation and really screw up your eyes. Sitting though... there might be one. Go check the Nexus, I think you can filter for "Animation" type mods or something similar in their lists.

its been a long time but if i remember correctly from the old version this should have what you are looking for
not 100% sure tho, old skyrim had 15 different options for just the right version of first person animations a person could want so its hard to remember exaclt wich one i used
pretty sure this was the one that would have you tumbling in first person when a DCO dragon threw you of a mountain

edit: looked a little more and this one is the only one i can find that was ported
kindof sad because if i remeber correctly this one uses its own animation so if you add custom animations for things like running or magic they will not show alongside this
tho again, not sure
it needs testing to see if you are comfortable with it and it does all you want
everyone reacts differently to first person mods like this, for me this was not my favorite

The secret to humour is intelligence. You see where you went wrong here was not understanding or just ignoring the fact that immersion isn't the same as being realistic, it's about, you know, feeling immersed, enveloped by (in this case) a fantasy world. Whether magic and monster exist or not irl is irrelevant here because the game never claimed to be like the real world. Leaving a first person perspective every time you sit down is nothing to do with the game's fantasy world, so yes I can see how it would break someone's immersion.

It wasn't meant to be humorous....

Immersion = realism = immersiveness = realistic. First-person mode is meant to put you in the action and make you feel like you're there.....e.g. immersed.
Breaking away to a 3rd person view when you sit or stand or go sailing through the air breaks that.
For all of 3 seconds.

Humans are not computers. the Aftershock of suddenly "teleporting" is way longer than 3 seconds. You are not helping the discussion in any way, and you cant say the same about me because you are the one that started this derail which means i have the moral high ground

There are two mods that do this: Enhanced Camera and Immersive First Person View, but their incompatible with Special Edition.

hank you for al the answers.

It doesn't keep everything in first-person, like you are wanting, but I'm using Joy of Perspective. Puts the camera in the right place, and renders your whole body, so that when you look down, you see yourself. Can get some of the bulkier armours obscuring your view, though.

I quite enjoy the joy of perspective mod which let's you see your own body when in first person

Im waiting for the Immersive First Person View mod port from Oldrim its the best one in my opinion and it does what you want, my experience with joy is just that they enable the full body model view in the 1st person instead of being a real first person view mode with 3rd person animations.

Ah, the internet, where people go out of their way to act unjustifiedly stupid to strangers. Maybe you should go look up the definitions of realism and immersion. While the two can come together occasionally they are not the same. And while you are at it go look up what is suspension of disbelief.
