Crafted some leather. Adrianne won't take it.

I asked Adrianne Avenecci to teach me about smithing. I got distracted and did lots of quest stuff and came back. The next task was to make craft some leather. I did that. The game says I should talk to her. But she won't take the leather. The only options I have when I "talk" to her are "What do you have for sale" and "Tell me about Whiterun." I even searched the various online forums and found one that suggested these steps:
1. enter a console
2. click on her
3. resetAI
4. disable
5. enable
Nothing has worked. Help? Thanks.

Go back to before you used the console. Make sure it's daytime and she is outside the shop area, she doesn't have her "usual" dialogue when she goes inside. During the transition from inside -> outside or outside -> inside, she also doesn't have the dialogue.

Other than that, might have to reload from prior to the quest being started. Never seen this bug happen before. Also, if you have a second item, maybe from loot, that she told you to turn into leather, it could possibly prevent her from accepting that you have done the task. Either drop it or turn it into leather as well.

I sell the strips and i buy leather from her to make new strips. for some reason when i buy the leather it unstuck.

This worked for me, thanks! I had the exact same issue but with Alvor in Riverwood. Seems like it's just a buggy miscellaneous quest sometimes.
