Combat overhaul is very poorly made and clearly not designed for first person (might be good for third person, but i have no idea). Archery gameplay overhaul is extremely OP and is absolutely broken (balance wise). TDM not fits to skyrim gameplay in any way or form (especially on mage), but i know people still love it for some reason. But it's not compatible with AE anyway, so we'll just skip it.
The main issue is that for some reason people tend to play skyrim in 3rd person. So most combat mods use 3rd person as a base. Which is probably why i can't find anything good.
I tried First Person Combat Animations Overhaul 2.0 and it's also falls flat.. poorly made animations which are somehow even worse and feels wodden as if i am back to Morrowind. I am still can't wrap of my head why would anyone kill innertia in movement, but mod maker did just that.. for whatever reason.
If you find any, let me know.
Spoiler today from Ershin (the mod author of TDM)

"Absolutely, I'm avoiding stating any date because I've missed the previous ones, but it really shouldn't be too long now."
I tried both Valravn and Wildcat, and I found Valravn far superior.
