Does Dual wielding Detect Life level up Alteration faster?
I'm trying to get alteration to 100 by using detect life in the center of Riften where there are a lot of people. However I was just wondering if dual wielding detect life makes a difference in how fast alteration levels up. I don't really see why it would, since all it really does is drain your magicka faster. I have discovered an exploit where if you use the Secrets of Arcana power, and simply cast the spell non-stop, your magicka will never drain. And so I thought of just placing something down on my mouse and leaving for say an hour and then come back. But if this lacks in how fast the leveling up goes, I don't know. Any answer would be highly appreciated!

As long as you don't use the dual cast perk but just 2 individual spells it should level it up faster yes.

No idea man.. But what I did to lvl up Alteration was: I was casting Teleckenises Spell on a book that was close to a bed and sleeping 1 hour in it to regain Magicka (I was also using the Mage Stone to get +20% XP and was Married and gaining +15% XP from resting).

Dunno. But if you want to quick level Alteration the best way is to spam Ironskin casts. The armor spells give tons of Alteration XP.
