Distant trees have ridiculously broken textures/models
As far as I know, none of my mods affect trees/LOD. In fact, I'm pretty sure I had this bug when I first tried SE several months ago with little to no mods at all. The bug is very common, almost all distant (sometimes not so distant) trees look something like this. I found a few slightly similar cases online, but no solutions. Anyone else have this problem? What the hell could be causing this, if not mods?

In the first screenshot, I managed to get a closeup because I was (at the time) running the Holds mod which makes Dawnstar a closed city and therefore everything outside it is half-loaded. This is not to say that trees only look like this when viewed from within cities/closed areas.

This happens when using DynDOLOD without the correct files.

From their FAQ:

Q: LOD trees textures cut off mid-way

A: The tree texture atlas like Textures\Terrain\Tamriel\Trees\TamrielTreeLod.dds does not belong to the generated tree LOD in Meshes\Terrain\Tamriel\Trees\*.*

A: Verify that the tree texture atlas Textures\Terrain\Tamriel\Trees\TamrielTreeLod.dds and the tree LOD in Meshes\Terrain\Tamriel\Trees\*.* are the ones from the DynDOLOD output folder and from the same LOD generation process and none of the files are overwritten by other mods.
I fixed the problem with a mod, EVT improvement of trees 2.0.0. This mod have indeed tree LOD. I hadn't LOD files in my main data before. I had half of trees... It was ridiculous and ugly.

Thanks for the help, I forgot I needed LOD files and it was necessary.
