For me it was interference from the case with the wireless receiver for the mouse and keyboard.
I put a 6 inch shielded USB cable on computer, then hung it away from my case and all is fine now.
Your post wasn’t clear if you meant yours is a cable or receiver you unplugged and moved.
When you launch skyrim, it automatically connects to bethesda. However, if you lose that connection (Via bad internet) the keyboard will stop working. For example, my internet just died for 5 minutes and i could not play for this exact reason. The loss of internet caused the keyboard to stop working.
As far as i know, there is no solution to this issue at the moment. You cannot play skyrim without internet access (Or you will need a controller). If the internet is patchy (connects and disconnects here and there) you could try logging into the bethesda launcher and leaving it running in the background. This can bypass the issue for a short time while you reconnect.
But i'm afraid if you're completely offline / no-internet, there is no solution that i know of atm other than to use a controller.
Bro, thank you so much.
This is not helping me directly because, well, there is no solution to my problem, but man thank you! Now I at least know what is happening. You're by far the best help I got. Much love to you and to your family. May you have a wonderful year, and a wonderful life.
