Unable to download creation club content

Does anyone know how to get the new free creation club content to download? every time i try it shows "DOWNLOADING..... 0%" then times out and asks me to log back in. when i try to leave creation club it says new content downloaded you must restart game but no new content appears in the game.

First, go to the Creation Club menu and check to see if you have Survival, Fishing, Rare Curios, and Saints and Seducers installed. They may be installed and you just don't realize it.

Ive seen people deleting all their ini files in documents / my games / skyrim special edition

Solved this for them (make sure cloud saves are disabled before doing this)

Thanks Mate. I've just checked them and they are installed. It's things like the backpacks and armours that won't download

The backpacks and armors aren't part of the free update, only the 4 I listed were free.

Odd, so it's downloading some but not all that you own?

I've had this occasional problem myself. It seems to come and go. I suspect it may have something to do with how loaded (or overloaded) the Bethesda servers are.

Yeah this has been ongoing with anything in the game's main menu meaning the mods listed there and the CC. I went thru it off and on for years on Console.

Yeah this has been ongoing with anything in the game's main menu meaning the mods listed there and the CC. I went thru it off and on for years on Console.

It may simply be the fact that the original game was not at all coded for the more-or-less "always on" internet that it uses nowadays. *Shrug*

i had this same problem. i fixed it buy going to the Options menu in the creation club and hitting the "Download all Owned items" thing. it then downloaded all the stuff i wasn't able to do individually.
