As to how long for a cell to reset, you would have to leave and not enter that cell (or the timer will reset) for 30 in-game days. Really is better to just reload an earlier save - if only to avoid unforeseen consequences.
Yes but it's inside a player home, I was under the impression that Player homes simply never reset......
They do not respawn, but items that have been knocked down, for example, will reset to where they had been, and corpses will be removed - though as for this instant, I could be mistaken (and my game is so heavily modded, it could be changed in my game - so there is that).

The Hearthfire houses reset the items, if you picked up a kettle it will be back in 10 days not visiting. The greenhouse will reset the hanging moss after not being there for 10 days, however you will have to pick the moss again as if you leave it and get back, they are mysteriously gone and have to wait another 10 days. All the containers are save, every item dropped is save, just that the existing items respawn.

Hearthfire houses are different yeah. Stuff on tables and non plantable plants and insects do respawn.

No such luck in base game houses tho.
However i always had trouble with the cursed Apiary from Hearthfire. It refused to respawn no matter what.
Even with Unofficial Patch it never restocked no matter how long i am away.

Making it completely useless.

Corpses given certain "permanent" items are fine, but yeah normally they despawn. Some corpses are still not fine though, some will disappear no matter what, and some are tied to resurrect commands like bandit chiefs... actually maybe every "respawning" enemy is not save :P Kill one on Solstheim, dead thrall it, put it in your basement, give it a treasure map and 10 days later or so it's gone. Go back to where it should be, kill it again and it has the treasure map in its inventory.

Yeah it's basically just a container at this point, just like beehives i believe, don't think i've ever seen one of those restock on anything anywhere in the game. Thankfully the fish hatchery function pretty well, except the clams, slaughterfish eggs and slaughterfish themselves are buggy.
Properly setup player home will have cell set to no respawn as well as all "safe" containers set to no respawn.

I believe you can leave the cell to respawn and chests to no respawn and containters should be safe. The cell will reset but containers should not. (Not 100% sure and see no reason to do this anyways)

You can also leave container respawn on and have cell respawn off which will not reset containers. (Tested personally)

Everything I have ever made or looked into though has both set to no respawn.
Ingredients will not respawn setup like this though so I am sure not every home is setup as double no respawn. I usually script to delete and replace flora objects as my way of "respawning" them.

Best that you get rest, modding at past midnight doesn't turn out right from what I have experianced.

Many consumables and ingredients on shelves and tables also reset. The Argonian Bloodwine and mammoth's tusk for instance. Items in the trophy room like the dynamo core of whatever respawn too. Books and food, too. I think the ores and furs in the basement respawn too, but I'm not sure.

Yes, the ores and fur in the basement do respawn.

Normal no. Common bug , yes.
Unofficial patch fixes that one among other similar issues.

You might aswell reload the save. Cause you are still maried and won't be able to marry again without needing console command.

Marriage in Skyrim persists even in death. Literally :lunar2019laughingpig:

Experience tells me that console commands are not as bad as most people say. Obviously they can get dangerous, but people online exaggerate too much, though I can imagine why
