I have followed the straight up mountain wall between Largashbur and Darklight Tower and there is no way up without straight up a wall of granite. Levitate would come in handy but they didn't put that spell into Skyrim.
I know the reward is for a new look Dragonplate / mail armor, which I am less interested in, but it would be nice if there was a way up. I didn't know what the reward would be until I looked at the wiki for help on how to get there without mountain climbing gear as the quest marker is behind what appears to be the skyrim zone wall.
Do we need to fight our way through DarkLight Tower to get there? I'll try further east and west. If not I'll skip this quest. Especially with current character which would not use that kind of armor anyway. I don't think I've been to Darklight Tower in years as I do not visit places if I do not have a quest there, or if I want something that I know is inside that I want, like certain word walls.
Only a noob to AE stuff but having a blast with everything else included so far and my new mod setup. Thanks if anyone answers.
Maybe this would of been easier with a cliff climbing horse. But I never use them anymore. Its more fun exploring on foot. On Horseback you can pretty much ignore any random encounters by just riding on as if they are not there. May as well fast travel instead and ignore the emersion of the game.
