Accidently Killed Arvel The Swift

So, i was doing the Golden Claw Quest, when fighting the drougrs I accidently killed arvel. What should i do?

That is how it is supposed to go.
Normally he gets randomly killed by a dragr after running away, but if he didn't get killed
he would then try to kill you.

You only need to loot the dragon claw and journal off his body. He is not essential for any quests beyond this.

He is supposed to die.

If you dont kill him he will run to a trap and die.

Yeah, had him fight me a number of times, the really stupid bit is he didn't even know how to use the claw, he was fighting so he could scratch his head and go "duh"

Which is why I purposely kill him at the first opportunity instead of waiting for him to run away then try to kill me.
