I *might* eventually allow the game to update. But not for a good long time. I'm happy playing non-updated SSE with all the mods I've taken great pains to have working flawlessly, as is the vanilla game.

Once they issue the hotfix required by the AE I may, MAY, consider updating and continue playing with mods.

Unfortunately your survey doesn't cover my position. Nearest I could get to was the 4th option though, so that's what I went for.

I simply don't let companies which have such poor customer service and continually launch product that is unfit for purpose, get off the hook that easy.

When you say the option was not there what exactly were you looking for?

Ditto - We are in the same boat as I'm fine with my working game. I very well might take the update once the dust clears.

3 months ago or so i would also be in the same boat - i had a heavily modded SE and was enjoying a play through... long story short upgraded my PC forgot to backup my saves lol (i had forgot that i had disabled cloud saves)...

So i needed to start a new game anyway... So i did fresh clean install, let it update and even bought the 20 upgrade... So now im waiting for SKSE and other mods to sort themselves out so i can have a heavily modded AE... I dont mind waiting, i have plenty of other games to play in the mean time and in the end being on all the latest versions of everything is normally a good thing so i am all good...

One thing im not liking in the forums is this whole 'which side are you on - SE vs AE...?' I mean its the still the same game and people are arguing over it lol... Or the whole 'mods vs CC' when again thats just silly as you can have both if you want and both are totally optional... So i have no idea why people are arguing over these things lol...

Ah yes, playing other games is something that is always an option and a good option at that. I often do that as well or a combination of playing other games as well as this one.

I have to laugh because you're right, it's not a matter of one choice being better than another, it's all the same game. We like to call it your game your way. Now getting a feel of what people are doing is always helpful as we build our guides etc. going forward.

Can't vote (VPN user voting is not allowed.) so I'll just say it here then.

Currently playing AE without any mods.

After my current play through I'll add just a few mods however (minor graphical tweaks and racial passive changes). Otherwise it's the first time playing "vanilla" ever and I'm actually enjoying it.

Nothing wrong with that at all. Choices are always a very good thing.

I think the option for me is clear since Address Library got updated and it'll keep updating as i read in the comments section on Nexus(thankfully i worried the author went MIA). As soon most of my core mods also update too i'll switch to fully AE version. Since it might have less script lags from what i read which is a very good thing for my mod list :D.
