Whoever thought the Divine Crusader update was a good idea...
I hate you, and you can go straight to hell. Not only are you making us pay a premium price for the content, you then added an extremely unforgiving restriction, which is almost impossible to not trigger because of how many things are considered either assault or trespassing. Then you had the absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nerve to force us into a quest, which requires us to visit 9 unmarked locations scattered across the map; then made it repeatable for good measure, for the next time we accidentally graze a friendly NPC with a flame spell during a group fight or, divines forbid, sneak attack a bandit.

If it was the authors: I really hope you're on these forums and see this, so I can drive home this sentiment. ♥♥♥♥. YOU. I can't believe you got paid to make my paid content less fun.

If it was someone else at Bethesda: Equally... ♥♥♥♥. YOU. I paid you for this ♥♥♥♥, and you add an update that makes it harder for me to use the content I paid for?

The Divine Crusader cc mod didn't have this restriction, so it will have been the AE Team who have added it.

Good to know who to direct my anger towards.

what's that restriction?

If you commit any crime, the weapons and armour can deem you "unworthy" until you visit all 9 unmarked shrines to remove your sin. Until you do that, trying to use the weapons or armour will remove 100 from your carry limit, and reduce health and stamina regen by 300%.

From the OP I'm guessing any trespassing or accidently hitting a companion renders the artifacts useless.

But the Divine Crusaders CC mod had absolutely no restrictions at all when I played it before the update.

It's nuts that no one's modded it out yet. I guess none of the modders wanted to pay for CC armour. Shocker.

Should be pretty easy to xedit it mid game. Make it add 1000 carry limit and increase regen by 3000% :D

That's a good point. Edit the stats to do the opposite of the debuff + the original stats and then never do the pilgrimage

Wait this is repeatable?
Oh my.. that's reallly bad.

What were they thinking with that one. It doesn't even have a good enchantment on it to be worth the trouble. (Except the Shield. Can't go wrong with a Spellbreaker enchantmemt)

If you commit a crime you need to reset your stats so you can weild the gear, so yes visiting the shrines is repeatable.... just as it was in KOTN

Deleting the script trigger from the armor itself would work too i think.

You would only get the quest to grab it from the bandits and that's it. Pretend that as Dragonborn you get to wield it no matter what xD

Mine is not repeatable so far. I tested it with getting bounties and what not. It was a one time thing for me.

Oof. I am totally going to change that ASAP tho i will test first if there is a safe way to do that.
To be honest I ended up just sticking the armour on a dummy and the weapons on racks and using the stuff I was already wearing.... but that was before AE, maybe they've added a reason to wear it...

For me was the cool factor and that i am doing a Paladin playthrough. I like the looks of it tho enchantment is lacking. Too lazy to tweak it rn but i will fix that god awful restriction that is for sure.
