There's really no difference. I usually kill the annoying woman in the middle with the attitude. The Kajhiit at the right is pretty arrogant and I've done him in a few times. The guy on the far left I never kill, because he seems to be the most humble. But it makes no difference to the outcome with Astrid.

The basic assumption is that none of them have done anything worth killing them for, but that's the point, Astrid wants to see if you will actually murder someone, and doesn't want to lose a potential customer by killing someone who's done something bad.... Two of them have unpleasant personalities but that's the extent of their crimes...

And all this time I thought it was just me that killed them all to make a good impression. I've never killed Astrid not just because of Shadowmere and Windshear but because of the fact that she is one of the hotter looking women in the game.
