Both mods don't work. They just turn Serana's face black :(
Any tips? I am using Vortex. I have a few mods (around 15). Mainly SkyUI, CBBE, Racemenu and a few essential ones.
Also, Make sure there are no NPC mod patches below her either.
Last time I had a black face bug I went into the game and using the mod More Informative Console I found a patch for AI overhaul had somehow worked it's way down in my load order which had AI Overhaul making changes to some of my NPCs.
Thanks will give it a try!
By the way, any mod suggestions to remove the sunken face on my character? Just became a vampire and my character look horrifyingly bad. I tried Humanoid Vampires SE but it doesn't change anything.
EDIT: I set the Serana mod to load after AI Overhaul and it worked.
I.E. higher rez but no actual change?
Paul, xEdit may be useful on this one if you know how to use it.
I ended up using BFMV Serana. I wish I could change the weird chinese anime hairstyle though. It looks atrocious as it clips through armor and objects.

In the screenshot, I am using SG skin textures, (sorry no link).
That's not a neck seam btw; she's wearing a collar and cuirass from two different armors.
In that case, unless you have only a few NPCs replaced, you need to make/find a patch, or you might as well ditch AI Overhaul, if most of your NPCs are covered by replacers (ég if you have all of Northbourne's and Pandorable's mods that's very nearly everyone) and you don't patch, AI Overhaul will do pretty much nothing at best/may cause some problems, depending if it has any processes going on that expect you to have NPCs using its packages etc.
She uses whatever textures you have installed, so that'll be automatically done. If you want higher poly, i don't know any that keep her vanilla look and use high poly head but 'improved vanilla Facegen' has regenerated all NPCs' Facegen with high poly hair meshes, better eye meshes, Expressive Facegen Morphs and a few other things. Personally I don't use it because it doesn't have any in game screenshots of any of female elves, and most mods I've seen of vanilla-style Facegen with EFM makes the female elves look a bit meh for me, but other people might like it. There's also Nordic Faces which is supposed to be fairly vanilla but higher quality, but again, I haven't tried it. That one does at least have lots of in game pics.
My point is, if you fix a conflict between NPC replacers and mods which make other changes to those NPCs by just dragging the replacer below the other mod, you have only removed the thing that was alerting you to a conflict, and now your replacer is overriding the other mod.
Eg if AI Overhaul gives Hulda a new AI package in her NPC record, and Northbourne changes her look, and you just drag Northbourne below AI Overhaul and any patches for it, AI Overhaul no longer affects her. If this is the case for the vast majority of NPCs (as it will be if you've got all of NB's and more covered by other mods) then AI Overhaul is doing basically nothing in your game, and certainly isn't working as it should be.
