soul gems arent Filling

i have bare minimum one soul gem of each tier except for black and i have killed goats mudcrabs wolfs and like two bears only once did it say i resist and yes i do it within 60 seconds i one tap mudcrabs standing dead next to it too. i have it on my bow and ive tried the spell

Well, if you have just 1 of each, if you kill something and the only gems available that can take that size soul are already filled, then you will not get the soul, as there is nothing to put it into where it will fit. That's why you need to carry several of each size - at least. Soul gems can only hold one soul apiece, and only those souls that are equal to or smaller than what their size allows.

You are definitely targetting the enemies with the soul trap spell?
Otherwise are you using mods?

no mods im using spell and ive used my bow with charges in it that trap the souls its halfway used

i have one grand 20 petty 10 lesser 4 common 3 greater

And there are empty ones in each category when you kill an animal? In addition, sometimes if you kill two or more enemies in a short period of time, only one soul may get trapped.

well no nothing is filling ill be right next to said creature nothing fills and i only do one creature at a time

The only other things I can think of - did you ever have mods, even in a previous game? Sometimes mods leave leftover files, even with a reinstall, so you would have to follow this vid exactly:

The other thing, you should really at least install the Unofficial Patch, as it fixes literally THOUSANDS of bugs - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/266

And, if you still want achievements after installing the Patch, install Engine Fixes - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/17230
and all its necessary requirements.
