It also seems like most of the fort missions are glitched. At least they were for me.
Unofficial Patch being still unofficial and them not fixing what is fixed in the unofficial patch while at same time not allowing achievements if using any mods(re-enable mod is just an excuse). DLC/CC having ignored bugs that continuously crop up and remain unfixed.
They expect us to waste time and manual save often if we want to have a chance at playing and enjoying what we paid for. What is wrong with us?
But if ya don't visit the greybeards there will be far fewer. I finished civil war quickly and skipped council by not going to high hrothgar.
Survival, no mods.
You can't do either side of the civil war without starting the main quest line. No matter who you pick, you have to talk to Balgruuf, and he'll always refuse to talk to you about it until you've done Dragon Rising.
There's mods that add a look-alike as a craftable item. If you know the basics of modding, its not that hard to make such a mod yourself either (I made such a mod for myself to make the bandages in the game wearable, I was copying the 'hand wraps' mod that's no longer available). Making it craft-able though would be a bit of a hassle, but its not too bad. At least you don't have to make your own assets. Though honestly it probably only looks like a bother because making the item itself is so easy. Make a copy of either the ebony or dragonplate helmet, re-name it 'Jagged Crown' and then set its model to be identical to the real Jagged Crown. This would all literally only take seconds. Making the crafting record is a bit more difficult since you have to enter in a lot more data than just a name. Still, it would only take about a minute if you know what you're doing.
For sure. Ive modded Skyrim in the past. Just trying to get all of the achievements on SE before I mod it again. Doesnt take long and I begin to miss a lot of quality-of-life mods Ive used. Especially the unofficial patch.
I couldn't agree with you more especially after you help them out with the civil war. That is the reason for which no matter what race I play. I will sometimes join the Storm cloaks and then when I do the Jagged crown quest I will turn on them and turn it over to the Imperials. It seems only right considering how racist they are.
Well I'm off to test some more mods.
