Papyrusutil OSA error
Really didnt want to post this here but I havent found a solution.

Im trying to use Ostim, and I have installed the correct version of SKSE, Papyrusutil, Ostim, and OSA. But when I launch the game I get an error that says:

"OStim:ERROR-Your version of PapyrusUtils is out of date-this is ALMOST CERTAINLY because OSA's packaged in (and out of date) PapyrusUtils is overwriting a more recent downloaded version."

I do not have a mod that overwrites the Papyrusutil.dll and it shows in data/skse/plugins.

And I have moved papyrusutil lower in my load order. Still nothing.

Has anyone encountered this issues AND found a fix? Or do I need to wait for an update for OSA?

I have used the standalone version of Papyrus and also tried manual install as well with Vortex AND MO.

Thanks in advance.

If you are dealing with Nexus based mods OSA has been dumped and OStim is the current version being supported for game version .1170.

Outside of Nexus and rolled backed game versions I have no idea.

So I had this issue when trying to load a save I previously was using Sexlab on. My fix was just starting a fresh save

Any solution?
please don't rez threads - two useless words "any solution" - how does this help anyone help you? do you have the exact same computer, exact game version, exact same mod version, exact same error message?

the OP seems didn't even use a mod manager and was installing things directly, so they may have been so dumb they didn't understand the concept of last overwrite, the order you extract mods matters, and just extracting one new thing might require a long re-extraction process of 20 other mods to do things in a precise order, which is a headache for even technical people and a never-ending nightmare for non-techncials.

if that's all you're going to give? then I'll give you a one word answer: no.
someone didnt read the mod page.

To make this all a bit shorter for people finding this thread: PapyrusUtil conflicts do not rely on load order, but for resource priorities. Conflict is not caused by records, but old PapyrusUtil resources merged in to mods.

In manual installation (not recommended) make sure to install up to date PapyrusUtil last or just reinstall it once you are done. DO NOT allow any other mod you might install to overwrite files from it.

With MO2 or Vortex: just make sure that up to date PapyrusUtil resources load after any mods that have old merged versions of it.
any
