Edit: I wouldn't recommend any other manager besides the two discussed above because these two don't muck up your main game folder and have powerful tools for conflict detection and resolution.
My vote is also for Vortex but in the end you have to use what works for you. You can't go wrong either way.
Gopher has put together a great video series on installing, setting up, and using Vortex. I include it in all my Load order modding guides.
i don't have an insane amount of mods mind you. mostly just ussep, some qol upgrades and citizens reworked. even with the few mods i put on there so far, the difference is like night/day compared to vanilla
