For simply knock don't forget to get the fixed dll.
It absolutely sounds like a great mod on paper. But i'm wondering if i'd ever really use it. With survival mods i feel like it's "knock on door, turn in quest, visit inn" which could just be reordered to "visit inn, turn in quest during the day".
I'm not arguing against it, btw, just hoping that i'm not being imaginative enough....lol.
Does it make shop owners open for business?? That would be helpful, often having to rest to sell junk or buy supplies.
But Simpler knock works as well. I happen to prefer Simply Knock.
I didn't realize the mod allowed you to sleep in the house without it counting as trespassing. Now that would be a feature i could see myself using. Rather than stop by the inn, my followers and i could stop by the home of a friend to "camp" for the night.
From the Simply Knock mod page:
"If anyone is home, they will answer the door! You can then flex your speechcraft skills in order to get them to allow you inside. If someone inside is a friend, they will always permit you to enter.
All house doors in Skyrim can be knocked on if locked, as well as some businesses where people live (farms, stores, etc).
If you need a quiet place to stay the night, or want to visit someone you know at odd hours, just knock on the door like a normal civilized person. Also useful for checking to see if anyone's home before you commit your next burglary".
I use it for all the above.
Then there's feature settings in the MCM
